1.     The admission to Postgraduate programmes M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Sc offered by Puducherry Technological University(PTU) and Government Quota seats in private institutions of Puducherry will be done by Postgraduate Admission Committee (PGAC) of PTU for the academic year 2024-25.

2.  The candidates seeking admission to these programmes are instructed to read the information brochure thoroughly to know the details related to the institutions, category of seats, eligibility, reservation, application submission and counselling / admission.

3.  Candidates seeking admission must have successfully completed the relevant Undergraduate Degree programme from recognized University and must have passed in all subjects, at the time of submission of application.

4.   Candidates can apply for more than ONE programmes and specializations with single application if they are eligible.

5.  There is no age limit for admission to M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, and MBA Programmes

6.  The details of application fee (in Rupees – Non-Refundable) are given below

     7.     The admission procedure has THREE steps:

Step 1: Fill  the details in the online application form available in the website www.ptuniv.edu.in, pay the admissible application fee, attach  required Documents, attach a signed copy of the Annexure II undertaking form, and submit.

Step 2: Download the filled application and submit the printed application along with self-attested copies of certificates and undertaking to:

Step 3: Attend the counselling session at the notified date, time and place to confirm your Provisional Admission

9.  PGAC will carry out only the allotment of seats. With the allotment order, the candidate must report to the admitted Institute before the deadline mentioned, for further proceedings. However, admission is subject to the approval of Puducherry Technological University / Pondicherry University as per norms.

10.The various terms and conditions mentioned here are subject to change by the Government of Puducherry and affiliating University from time to time as per the decision of the Academic Council / Executive Council and also binding regulations/directions of the Pondicherry University / Puducherry Technological University and other Regulatory bodies.
